About the Role

Your Way Life Supports is seeking compassionate, reliable and motivated Disability Support Workers to join our growing team across Gippsland, from Drouin through to Traralgon and surrounding areas.

We are passionate about providing person-centred support that empowers people living with disabilities to achieve their goals, build independence and live fulfilling lives.

We are looking for individuals who genuinely care about making a difference and are committed to supporting participants with dignity, respect and compassion.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide person-centred support to NDIS participants.
- Assist participants with daily living activities and personal care where required.
- Support community access, social outings and recreational activities.
- Encourage independence, skill development and achievement of personal goals.
- Assist with meal preparation, household tasks and daily routines.
- Follow individual support plans, policies and procedures.
- Complete accurate shift notes and documentation.
- Promote participant choice, dignity, privacy and independence.
- Build positive, professional relationships with participants and their support networks.

- A willingness to learn and undertake relevant training.

Essential Requirements

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or equivalent qualification, or willingness to meet role requirements.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Working With Children Check, where required for the role.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain them where applicable.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
- Reliable, roadworthy and insured vehicle suitable for work-related travel, where required.
- Australian working rights.

Additional experience supporting people with complex needs, mental health conditions or behaviours of concern is highly regarded.

Pay: $26.44 – $45.28 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 20.0 per week
