About the role

Lubke Engineering is seeking a skilled steel fabricator to join our team based in Picola, VIC. As a fabricator, you will play a vital role in the manufacture, repair, and maintenance of a variety, and other steel structures. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of projects from building sheds, machinery maintenance to 4x4 fabrication, to list a few.

What you'll be doing

- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics
- Operating various welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welders, to join metal components with high levels of precision and quality
- Performing maintenance and repair work on existing earthmoving equipment, cattleyards and other steel structures
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise during the fabrication and installation process
- Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety and quality standards
- Collaborating closely with engineering and production teams to optimise workflow and identify potential process improvements

What we're looking for

- Formal trade qualification as a Boilermaker or Welder, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience
- Strong technical skills in welding, metal fabrication, and the interpretation of engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work




- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment, while also demonstrating the capacity to work independently
- Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations, and a proven track record of protected work practices
- Good communication skills
- Must have drivers licence
- Australian work rights required for this position
