About the Role

Gero 168 is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily

operations of our restaurant. The successful candidate will manage staff, maintain high service

standards and ensure efficient restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Recruit, train, supervise and manage restaurant staff.
- Prepare staff rosters and coordinate daily staffing requirements.
- Monitor stock levels, manage inventory and coordinate purchasing with suppliers.
- Oversee operational budgets, monitor expenses and maintain financial records.
- Liaise with chefs regarding menu planning, pricing and customer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.




- Maintain high standards of customer service and dining facilities.
- Monitor restaurant performance and identify opportunities for operational improvements.

Skills and Experience

- Relevant Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field, or equivalent relevant industry

experience.

- Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory or management role.
- Solid leadership, communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in staff supervision, rostering and training.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, inventory management and budget control.
- Valuable understanding of food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
