Eleven Plus Studio is a Brisbane-based accounting firm supporting Australian individuals and small to medium-sized businesses with taxation, accounting, bookkeeping and business support.

We are looking for an experienced accountant based in the Philippines who can take ownership of assigned work, prepare accurate working papers and communicate clearly with our Principal and team.

This role suits someone currently working in Australian public practice who is considering their next opportunity. You must have more than three years of hands-on experience working for an Australian accounting firm, either directly or through an outsourcing provider.

General accounting experience outside Australian public practice, or bookkeeping experience alone, will not meet the requirements of this role.

Location: Philippines, working remotely
Hours: Full-time or part-time, to be agreed

The work

- Prepare Australian individual and company tax returns and Business Activity Statements for review.
- Prepare annual financial statements, year-end journals and supporting working papers.
- Complete bookkeeping, bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews.
- Process Australian payroll and reconcile payroll accounts.
- Investigate discrepancies, identify missing information and raise questions with clear supporting details.
- Keep assigned jobs progressing and communicate deadlines, outstanding matters and potential delays.

What you need

- More than three years of practical experience working for an Australian accounting firm.
- Current employment in a role involving Australian accounting and tax work.
- Hands-on experience preparing individual tax returns,



company tax returns, BAS and annual financial statements.
- Strong working knowledge of Xero and Xero Practice Manager.
- Confidence using Excel, Teams, Outlook and Planner.
- Explicit written and spoken English.
- A suitable home office, appropriate computer equipment, reliable internet and at least two monitors.

Experience with Hubdoc and Australian trust tax returns will be an advantage.

How you work matters

We are looking for someone reliable, organised and careful with client information. You should be comfortable explaining your work, checking your own reconciliations and raising an issue when something does not look right.

You will be expected to work independently on familiar tasks while recognising when a matter needs clarification or review.
