A growing, boutique dental practice located in Hope Island (less than 20 minutes from Helensvale) is seeking a Dental Assistant/Reception experience to join our friendly, vibrant team.

About the role
The role involves shifts throughout Monday-Friday, with hours rostered in advance for up to an average of 35 hours per week. Flexibility is required with working hours possible over days and some evenings.

The Dental Assistant is responsible for assisting our Principal Dentist with all general and cosmetic procedures, sterilising and providing exceptional customer service. The applicant must also be comfortable and confident with general reception duties including greeting patients, managing the appointment book and payments.

About you

Previous dental reception experience is preferred to be considered for this role, however we will also consider relevant admin and front office experience. In addition, the suitable applicant will:

- Have a bubbly outgoing personality with a commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Have great communication skills, be confident, mature-minded and a quick learner
- Be a great team player, have the willingness to take initiative, to learn and grow with the practice
- Have some previous Dental Assisting experience preferred.
- Have their own vehicle and a driver’s licence
- Social media marketing skills would be an advantage
