Do you enjoy working with kids and having fun? Would you like to create unforgettable experiences and memories for children?

We are looking for fun, bubbly and outgoing people to work with our company hosting kids discos for a variety of events such as birthday parties, club celebrations and public events in an ongoing basis. Get paid great money to have fun!

All training and equipment provided. Experience working with kids preferred but not essential. We look for people focusing on the right personality rather than technical skills. We can teach you all needed skills, but can’t teach you to have a fun personality that kids will engage with.

Essential requirements:

- Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain).

- Own ABN (free to get).

- Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle to carry sound equipment.

- Area at home to store sound equipment (unless providing your own).

- Available to work weekends.

Additional experience/skills – desirable but not essential.

- Experience working with kids in a personal or skilled setting.

- Knowledge of popular music appropriate for kids.

- Experience in use of sound equipment.

Events will be primarily on weekends with occasional weekday bookings particularly during peak times (Christmas, Easter, Halloween, etc). Advanced notice is provided for all events and you have the right to turn down events if you already have prior commitments. An overall average of one booking per week is provided,



but more work can be provided to the right person if requested.

This work is by contract meaning that your own ABN will be required (free to obtain).

Opportunities exist for more work to be provided in other entertainment areas such as photobooth events and music bingo events in the future if desired.

PAY RATES (if provided equipment by us) - A minimum of $200 per disco booking usually running for 2hrs. $50 p/hr after the first 2hrs (or $25 per half hour) for longer events. Superannuation is paid on top of these rates.

Pay is based on disco time ONLY, equipment/setup time is included in the base rate as well as travel to and from your venue (additional pay provided for any events requiring you to travel a significant distance).

EXISTING DJ’s – If you are an existing DJ with your own equipment and would like to work with us, it is a great option for getting work during the day whilst leaving many nights available for other work. Higher rates of pay are given if you provide your own equipment. Our discos are different than regular DJ events though requiring lots of engagement and activities for kids, the right personality is essential, and the work is not suitable for all DJ’s.
