Order Picker & Timber Machining Assistant (Training Provided)

Allmat Timber & Building Supplies is a South Australian owned business at Gillman. We need a hands-on, reliable person to pick customer orders and, with our training, machine timber profiles in our workshop.

No machining experience needed. If you are practical and keen to learn a trade skill, we will teach you. Experienced timber machinists are welcome to apply too.

The role:

Pick and prepare timber and building supplies for customer orders

Dock, dress and cut timber on the docking saw, thicknesser and bandsaw

Learn to set up and run our spindle moulder for skirtings, architraves and custom profiles

Forklift loading and unloading

Keep the warehouse and workshop tidy

About you:

Hands-on and practical, comfortable with tools and machinery

Attention to detail is essential in this role





Physically fit and able to lift timber

Reliable and a valuable team member

Forklift licence or willing to get one

Current car licence

Woodworking, carpentry, joinery or timber machining experience is a bonus, not required
