Santorini on Oxford is looking for an experienced, professional and reliable Cook to join our busy Greek restaurant.

The ideal candidate must have strong all-round cooking skills, experience in a commercial kitchen and the ability to work confidently across different kitchen sections, including charcoal grilling.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes to a high standard.
- Work confidently across all kitchen sections, including grill, stovetop and food preparation.
- Have experience cooking meats and seafood over charcoal.
- Prepare sauces, marinades, vegetables and other menu items.
- Follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality, portion sizes and presentation.
- Manage daily food preparation and kitchen organisation.
- Maintain excellent food safety, cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Keep all cooking equipment and workstations clean and sanitised.
- Assist with stock rotation, deliveries and food storage.




- Work efficiently and independently during busy service periods.

Essential Requirements

- Previous experience as a Cook in a busy restaurant.
- Robust knowledge of general cooking techniques.
- Experience cooking over charcoal.
- Ability to manage multiple kitchen sections.
- Excellent food preparation and organisational skills.
- High standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, hardworking and responsible.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Available to work 6 days per week on rotating roster , including evenings and weekends.
- Valid Australian working rights.
