Male Disability Support Worker – Community Access

Location: Yangebup, WA

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and motivated Male Disability Support Worker to provide community access and social participation support to a participant in Yangebup, WA.

The successful candidate will assist the participant with appointments, shopping, errands, and community activities while promoting independence, dignity, choice, and personal goals.

Flexible availability is essential, as shifts may vary depending on the participant’s support needs and roster requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide community access and social participation support.
- Assist with appointments, shopping, errands, and community activities.
- Support safe vehicle entry and exit as required.
- Encourage independence and achievement of participant goals.
- Follow individual support plans and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate progress notes and required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with the team regarding support needs and concerns.

Essential Requirements

- Previous disability or community support experience is preferred.




- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- National Police Clearance.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Valid Australian driver’s licence.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Flexible availability to accommodate varying days and shift durations.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing quality support.
- A respectful, person-centred approach to supporting people with disability.

You are patient, dependable, and skilled, with a genuine commitment to supporting people with disability. You can work independently, adapt to changing roster requirements, and maintain the participant’s safety, dignity, and independence.
