As a Disability Support Worker with Elevo Care, you will join a team of other carers, responsible for caring and supporting people with disabilities in a SIL home setting, in-home, residential establishments, clinics and hospitals. You will also provide companionship and emotional support, with a robust focus to promote independence and community participation.

A day in the life as a Support Worker with Elevo Care may see you support our clients with:

- SIL home support with health issues and daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, eating, transport and budgeting
- Assist clients during domestic activities to live as independantly as possible
- Provide companionship and support during daily activities
- Cook and serve meals, clean premises, wash and perform other household tasks
- Organise and accompany out in the community at programs and completing activities.
- Assist people with medication management
- Focus on independence and assisting clients to live a fulfilling life
- Provide care in line with documented care plan and BSP
- Ability to work independently as well as as part of a multidisciplinary team

What we're looking for

As a patient,



flexible and understanding individual with a supportive and caring nature, ideally with experience within the disability or health care sectors, you’ll have:

- Experience supporting people with disabilities
- Commitment to the rights of people with disabilities to live dignified lives
- Good communication skills
- Able to accept responsibility
- Thorough reporting and saftey minded
- Able to work as part of a team, cope with the physical demands of the job, and perform domestic duties efficiently

Essential:

- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
- Valid driver’s licence with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
- NDIS Screener Clerance
- Current qualifications such as medication management

Pay: $40.40 – $80.98 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 38.0 per week
