Eating House is a busy, well-established restaurant and bar located in Rowville, offering a vibrant dining experience across breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with private functions, celebrations and events.

With an extensive cocktail menu, craft beers on tap, a diverse wine selection and a welcoming atmosphere, we're looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our front-of-house team.

About the Role

As a Bartender at Eating House, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional drinks and memorable guest experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and serving a wide range of cocktails, spirits, wines and beers
- Confidently making classic cocktails, including Espresso Martinis, Margaritas, Mojitos and Aperol Spritzes
- Providing friendly, engaging and professional customer service
- Managing bar orders efficiently during busy restaurant services
- Maintaining consistent drink quality, presentation and portion control
- Processing orders and payments accurately through our POS system
- Recommending cocktails, premium spirits, wines and other beverages to guests
- Maintaining bar cleanliness, organisation and presentation
- Assisting with stock rotation, replenishment and inventory control
- Following responsible service of alcohol (RSA) requirements and venue procedures
- Working closely with floor staff and management to ensure smooth service




- Supporting beverage service during private functions and events

What We're Looking For

- Previous bartending experience in a busy restaurant, bar or hospitality venue
- Strong cocktail-making skills and knowledge of classic cocktails
- Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Confidence handling multiple orders in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A friendly, outgoing and professional personality
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts

Experience with cocktail preparation, draft beer systems and wine service will be highly regarded.
