The Federal Hotel Kalgoorlie is looking for an experienced and motivated Hotel Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.

The successful applicant will organise and control hotel operations to provide accommodation, meals, beverages and other hospitality services while ensuring efficient business management and high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Organise, direct and control the overall operations of the hotel.
- Oversee accommodation, food and beverage services and daily operational activities.
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, revenue, expenditure and cost control.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures and service standards.
- Recruit, train, supervise and manage staff, including workforce planning and rostering.
- Monitor business performance and implement strategies to improve profitability.
- Oversee purchasing, supplier relationships, stock control and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable liquor licensing, food safety, workplace health and safety and employment requirements.
- Manage guest concerns, service standards and significant operational issues.




- Report on operational and financial performance to the business owners.

Skills and Experience

- Relevant experience in hotel or hospitality management.
- Experience managing business operations, staff and financial performance.
- Strong leadership, organisational and decision-making skills.
- Budgeting, cost-control and commercial management capabilities.
- Knowledge of hospitality operations and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and staff management skills.

A relevant qualification in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Management or a related discipline is desirable.
