Are you a hands-on technician who enjoys variety, problem-solving and getting out on the road?

We are looking for an energetic and reliable Service Technician with a positive, can-do attitude to join our successful national rental business based in Kensington, Victoria.

This is a varied, practical role involving the delivery, installation, servicing and maintenance of portable air conditioning and hire equipment at customer sites. No two days are quite the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys working independently, dealing with customers and tackling new challenges.

The role involves manual handling and physical activity, so you'll need to be comfortable performing the inherent physical requirements of the position.

About the Role

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Delivering and collecting portable air conditioning and associated hire equipment
- Installing and commissioning equipment at customer sites
- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and basic fault finding
- Liaising professionally with customers and members of the public
- Completing job paperwork and records using a handheld device




- Supporting the warehouse and wider team when required
- Participating in an overtime and on-call roster

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll bring:

- A current Australian driver's licence with a good driving history
- White Card
- Forklift licence, or willingness to obtain one, is highly regarded
- Mechanical aptitude and solid problem-solving skills
- A practical, hands-on approach
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transport to and from our Malaga warehouse
- Flexibility to work reasonable overtime and participate in the on-call roster when required
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and National Police Check
- Full Australian working rights
