About Us

Penang Village Delights is a restaurant specialising in authentic Malaysian cuisine. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee our daily operations, manage our team and ensure excellent customer service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Plan and design menu in consultation with chef;
- Manage staff roster;
- Recruit, train and supervise waiting and kitchen staff;
- Arrange special orders and functions for customers or organisations;
- Communicate with customers for satisfactory assessment and deal with customer complaints;
- Check dining facilities to ensure they are clean and functional and meet the health regulations;
- Check stock level regularly and arrange purchase;
- Manage and control price and budget;
- Supervise transactions and keep good financial record;
- Prepare financial budget for purchasing and promotion activities;
- Supervise customer services and may take reservations.

Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess:





- A relevant Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage staff, budgets and daily restaurant operations.
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and customer service standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a quick-paced restaurant environment.

Salary Range: $79,500-$85000 plus superannuation
