Operating since 2014, the company provides drainage installation, maintenance and repair services across residential, commercial and construction projects throughout the Perth metropolitan area.With a strong focus on quality workmanship, safety and reliable service, SWB Plumbing & Drainage delivers practical drainage solutions tailored to different site and project requirements.About the RoleSWB Plumbing & Drainage is seeking an experienced Drainer to join its team on a full time basis.The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing underground drainage and stormwater systems across residential and commercial construction sites. The role involves interpreting site plans, preparing drainage trenches, laying and connecting pipes, and ensuring drainage systems are installed correctly and operate efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret drainage plans,



drawings and site specifications.Prepare and excavate trenches for underground drainage installations.Install, align and connect drainage pipes, fittings and associated infrastructure.Install stormwater drainage systems, including pits, soakwells and underground pipework.Check pipe levels, gradients and alignment to ensure effective drainage.Inspect, maintain and repair existing drainage systems.Identify and rectify drainage faults, blockages and damaged pipework.Backfill trenches and reinstate work areas following drainage installations.Follow workplace health and safety procedures and applicable Australian Standards.RequirementsMinimum 2 years of relevant experience in drainage installation, maintenance or related work.Practical experience installing underground drainage and stormwater systems.Ability to interpret drainage plans and work with pipe levels and gradients.Experience using relevant hand tools, power tools and drainage equipment.Good understanding of construction site safety requirements.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Relevant trade qualifications or drainage-related licences will be highly regarded.To ApplyPlease submit your resume outlining your relevant drainage experience, qualifications and skills.Australian citizens and permanent residents will have priority
