Job Description

Job Summary Manila in Canberra is seeking a reliable and motivated Full time Cook to join our growing kitchen team. The successful candidate will assist in food preparation, cooking, stock control, and maintaining food safety standards while delivering high-quality Filipino cuisine and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities -Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and presentation standards. -Assist chefs in the preparation of authentic Filipino dishes and daily specials.

-Portion, prepare and store food ingredients. -Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards.



-Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control.

-Assist with receiving and storing deliveries. -Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace health and safety regulations. -Work effectively within a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Requirements -Previous experience as a Cook or Kitchen Team Member.

-Knowledge of commercial kitchen operations. -Experience with Filipino cuisine is highly regarded. -Ability to work weekends, evenings and public holidays.

-Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
