Venture Trucking Pty Ltd Venture Trucking Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Truck Driver (General) to join our transport operations in High Wycombe, WA. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy trucks to transport goods to designated locations safely, efficiently and in accordance with Australian road transport requirements.

The role involves preparing vehicles for trips, safely loading and securing freight, completing delivery documentation, carrying out routine vehicle checks and maintaining communication with dispatch and operations personnel. This position is suited to a professional driver who takes pride in protected driving, reliable delivery performance, vehicle care and customer service. Potential for ongoing employment and career development. Task & responsibilities Operate heavy trucks to transport goods safely to designated locations. Load and unload goods using appropriate lifting, tipping or handling equipment where required.

Comply with vehicle weight limits, load requirements and applicable road transport regulations.



Conduct pre-start and routine safety checks and report vehicle defects or maintenance issues. Maintain the vehicle in a clean, safe and roadworthy condition.

Follow designated routes and delivery schedules. Verify freight, loading documentation and delivery information. Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors and other drivers regarding delivery schedules and operational requirements.

Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times. Report incidents, delays, damage, hazards or other operational issues promptly. Qualification & experience Hold a valid HC/MC licence with a clean, current driving record Minimum of 1–3 years of full-time experience as a professional truck driver Solid understanding of road transport laws, fatigue management, and chain of responsibility Demonstrated ability to complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate trip records Skilled in safe load restraint, proper weight distribution, and careful handling of goods Experienced in operating tipping, lifting, and other loading or unloading equipment
