Harriet has a lifelong love of learning and teaching. Originally from Malaysia, she worked as a teacher for more than 35 years before moving to Australia, where she completed her Bachelor of Education and continued teaching as a relief teacher. Harriet speaks English, Malay and Tamil and enjoys sharing stories from her rich life experiences.

Harriet would love the support of a volunteer who can:

* Spend time with her in the garden and assist with garden-based activities around the facility
* Enjoy relaxed conversations and social connection
* Play Scrabble and other board games together
* Visit regularly, if possible, when Harriet particularly enjoys having company

We're seeking someone who is patient, friendly and enjoys building meaningful connections. No gardening expertise is required, just a willingness to spend time together and share in activities Harriet enjoys.

This is a wonderful opportunity to make a positive difference in someone's life while sharing your love of gardening, games and companionship.
