The Opportunity
Gorilla Jobs is seeking a Locum General Surgery Consultant to provide consultant-level surgical cover in regional NSW.
This role suits an experienced General Surgeon with current GESA certification, confident supporting surgical presentations and clinical decision-making.
Shifts generally run 08:00 to 18:00, at $2,500 per day.

Clinical Environment
• Consultant-level cover, providing senior General Surgery support across rostered shifts
• Day shift structure, with shifts generally running 08:00 to 18:00
• Regional surgical exposure, reviewing and managing surgical presentations in a regional hospital
• Supportive environment, working with hospital teams and escalation pathways

Requirements
• Current AHPRA Specialist Registration
• Recent General Surgery consultant-level experience
• GESA certification required
• Strong communication, leadership and clinical judgement
