Adventure Rooms Adelaide is a Real Life Escape the Room experience! We are looking to hire new Game Masters to join our awesome team for the Christmas/Summer period!

We are looking for energetic customer service staff who show initiative, motivation and are reliable. Applicants need to be confident, outgoing and creative with a good sense of fun and humour! We are also a licensed venue with a small bar and Game Masters will require a RSA.

Core duties :

- 1) Provide an exciting Adventure Rooms briefing to teams before the experience

- 2) Monitor games and operate controls to assist in customer experience

- 3) Provide answers and debriefing, photograph opportunities and general advice ⁄ feedback after the experience.

- 4) Resolve any customer issues – Answer emails ⁄ phone queries and enter bookings into the system.

- 5) Cash handling and reconciliation

- 6) Assist with promotions, leaflets and other marketing as required.

- 7) Cleaning and Maintenance of business as required

- 8) Service of alcoholic beverages and responsible service of alcohol

Successful Adventure Rooms Team Members will;

1) Be enthusiastic, engaging and keen to provide customers with a great experience.

2) Have previous hospitality/retail/customer service experience

3) Be personable with robust verbal and written communication skills

4) Be able to adapt well to difficult or unexpected situations ⁄ customers and resolve issues in an empathetic and professional manner

5) Be fluent in English both written and spoken,



and have a valid visa with working rights

6) Have good attention to detail, able to think on your feet, self-directed and a good team player

7) Have excellent time management skills

8) Have good computer skills (booking systems, websites, etc)

9) Be a creative and innovative thinker

10) Be very flexible with shifts and rosters

11) Have experience in cash handling and reconciliation

12) Be able to work as part of a team and alone/ unsupervised

13) Have an RSA or willing to obtain one in the first month of employment. RP Badge a bonus, must be willing to obtain one if requested after 3 months.

The Role:

This role is primarily for weekend work (with some weekday shifts). You MUST be available Fridays from 4pm - 12am, Saturdays 9am - 12am, Sundays 9am - 12am with some availability during the week preferred. Availability throughout the Christmas/Summer period is crucial.

Immediate start!

Full training will be provided!

Governed by the Amusement and Recreation Award.
