About the role

We are seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our team at our Townsville, QLD facility on a full-time basis. As a Boilermaker at Woodfield Engineering, you will play a crucial role in delivering projects that meet our exacting standards and contribute directly to the success of our operations. This role requires attention to detail, technical skill, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Key responsibilities

- Fabricate and assemble chutes, structural steel, pipe work, conveyor pulleys and components

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

- Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work orders accurately

- Adhere to all health and safety protocols and procedures on site

- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely project completion

What we're looking for

- Trade qualified Boilermakers/Fabricators





- Proficiency with welding equipment and techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding

- Competency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

- Sound understanding of metalworking processes and fabrication technique

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and practical troubleshooting skills

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
