We're on the hunt for an experienced, passionate and reliable Chef/Cook & Chef de Partie to join our team at Virtual Greens!

About the Role

This isn't your average kitchen job!

We're looking for someone who loves cooking, takes pride in their food and wants to be part of something exciting!

You'll be serving up a mix of modern and classic pub favourites, keeping the kitchen running smoothly and helping us create a food offering that keeps customers coming back – even if their golf game doesn't!

Whether you're a qualified Chef, an experienced Chef de Partie or a confident Cook who knows their way around a busy commercial kitchen, we want to hear from you!

You'll have the opportunity to bring your ideas to the table, contribute to our kitchen standards and work alongside a team focused on creating a fun, welcoming venue.

?‍? What You'll Be Doing

- Preparing and cooking delicious modern and classic pub-style meals

- Delivering consistently high-quality food with great presentation

- Working confidently and efficiently during busy service periods

- Assisting with daily kitchen operations and food preparation

- Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards

- Assisting with stock rotation, ordering and minimising wastage

- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and ready for service

- Contributing ideas to menu development and kitchen improvements

- Working closely with management and the wider venue team

- Helping create a positive, efficient and enjoyable kitchen environment

? About You

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their cooking, works well under pressure and brings a positive attitude to the kitchen.

Ideally, you'll have:

- Previous experience as a Chef, Chef de Partie or Cook in a commercial kitchen

- Experience in a pub,



tavern or restaurant setting

- Confidence preparing and cooking meals during busy services

- Strong organisational and time-management skills

- Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

- A passion for producing quality, consistent meals

- A reliable, hardworking and team-focused attitude

- The ability to work independently and take initiative

- Availability to work evenings and weekends

- A willingness to contribute ideas and help our venue grow

Relevant chef qualifications will be highly regarded, but we're also happy to hear from experienced Cooks with strong practical skills and the right attitude!
