Job Connect is seeking a reliable and hands-on HR Truck licenced Serviceperson to join a busy industrial operation in the Ripley area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machinery, getting hands-on and being part of a team that keeps essential equipment running smoothly.

This is a non-trade-qualified position, making it ideal for someone with practical mechanical experience who wants to put their skills to use in a busy working environment. You’ll work alongside experienced Mechanics, assist with routine plant maintenance and help ensure equipment is kept in good working order.

What does this look like?

Your day will involve a mix of routine equipment servicing, workshop assistance and general hands-on duties, including:

- Driving the service truck and refuelling mobile plant and machinery to keep equipment ready for operation.

- Greasing machinery and completing routine preventative maintenance.

- Changing air filters and carrying out general servicing tasks.

- Blowing out radiators to help keep equipment clean and operating efficiently.

- Assisting Mechanics with workshop tasks and maintenance activities.

- Collecting spare parts and materials from suppliers when required.

- Keeping the workshop and surrounding work areas clean, tidy and organised.

- Following site procedures to ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.





You’ll play an important role in supporting the maintenance team, helping minimise equipment downtime and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly.

What we looking for:

You don't need to be a qualified Mechanic to succeed in this role. We're looking for someone who is practical, reliable and keen to get involved.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous mechanical experience in a industrial, workshop or plant environment.

- HR open licence

- A basic understanding of machinery, tools and routine maintenance.

- A willingness to undertake physical work and work around heavy equipment.

- A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- A safety-conscious approach and the ability to follow instructions.

- Reliability and punctuality, particularly given the early morning starts.

- A positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
