About the role

Reporting directly to the Construction Manager and Project Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day site operations and lead project delivery from commencement through to completion. This is a practical, hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys being out on site, coordinating trades, maintaining project momentum and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities
Managing all day-to-day site operations
Coordinating and booking subcontractors
Managing site programmes and short-term look-ahead schedules
Ordering project materials and coordinating concrete pours and deliveries
Conducting site inductions and managing onsite subcontractor compliance
Implementing and maintaining WHS requirements
Managing site quality control and defect prevention
Liaising with project managers, consultants and clients as required
Monitoring project progress and identifying potential delays
Managing site logistics, access and deliveries

About you
Previous experience as a Site Manager,



Foreman or Leading Foreman within commercial construction
Strong knowledge of commercial fitout and refurbishment projects
Excellent trade coordination and subcontractor management skills
A solid understanding of construction sequencing and programming
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and site compliance requirements
The ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
Good communication and leadership skills
Robust attention to detail and quality outcomes

Current Driver's Licence
