Our local family fruit and vegetable shop is looking for a friendly and reliable Part-Time Shop Assistant . The role is mainly focused on serving customers at the register and maintaining product quality .
You will be working in a family environment.
Main Responsibilities
Operating the POS register and processing customer payments
Providing friendly and efficient customer service :
Checking expiry dates and product freshness :
Removing or reporting products that are not up to standard
Keeping the counter and shop area clean and organised
Requirements :
Previous customer service or cashier experience is a must.
Friendly attitude and good communication skills
Attention to detail when checking product quality
Reliable and punctual
Ability to work in a quick-paced retail setting
