Racing NSW is responsible for the leadership, supervision and regulation of thoroughbred horse racing within NSW.

Working full-time from our Sydney head office, we have an exciting chance to join a small and dedicated IT department focused on servicing the NSW Thoroughbred Racing industry.

Key responsibilities
Manage the IT infrastructure and ensure all systems are maintained and operational at all times, including Hyper-V systems.
Manage offsite disaster recovery and business continuity infrastructure
Support the broader IT team with escalated helpdesk issues
Ensure optimal cybersecurity systems are in place at all times, including managing firewalls
Lead infrastructure planning to identify equipment upgrades and replacements,



and lead the procurement and delivery process
Work with the team and vendors to maintain and continuously improve IT systems

The ideal candidate will have:
A "can-do" attitude and determination to get the job done
3+ years' experience working in a similar role
Thorough working knowledge of systems engineering, including Hyper-V virtualisation and Microsoft products such as Exchange, SharePoint, Entra ID and Intune
Positive verbal and written communication skills
