The Factory Hand is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day manufacturing operations at the Iconic Bendigo Pottery, based in Epsom, VIC. Employees in this role may be required to work across a range of manufacturing areas depending on production requirements, workload, skills and training. These areas include clay manufacturing, glaze manufacturing, pottery tool making, mould making, order packing and finished product manufacturing.

Key responsibilities
Assist with the manufacturing and processing of Bendigo Pottery clay bodies Accurately weigh and measure raw materials in accordance with established recipes and procedures Assist with batching, mixing, pugging and processing clay Operate clay manufacturing equipment following appropriate training Assist with quality control and testing of clay Prepare, pack, label and store finished clay for sale or production Maintain accurate production records where required Report contamination,



inconsistencies, equipment faults or other issues to the relevant manager Maintain clean, secure and organised clay manufacturing areas About you Secure and reliable completion of assigned manufacturing tasks Consistent adherence to production procedures and quality standards Ability to work effectively across multiple manufacturing areas Appropriate care and use of machinery, equipment and materials Willingness to develop recent skills and competencies Positive contribution to team productivity and workplace culture Be careful
