As our Payroll Officer, you'll manage end-to-end payroll and be a trusted point of contact for employees, managers, Finance and People & Culture.

Key responsibilities
Managing end-to-end payroll processing accurately and within required deadlines Reviewing timesheets, leave, allowances, overtime and deductions Processing current starters, employee changes, terminations and final pays Managing payroll reconciliations and resolving discrepancies Ensuring compliance with Australian payroll legislation, awards, employment agreements, PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation and STP requirements Preparing payroll journals and supporting month-end reconciliations Maintaining accurate employee and payroll records Responding to employee and manager payroll queries Preparing payroll reporting, including leave balances, headcount, superannuation and payroll tax Supporting audits, budgeting and forecasting requirements About you 5+ years' payroll processing experience Solid knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements Experience interpreting awards,



employment agreements and contracts Solid attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Excellent organisation and time-management skills Confidence communicating with employees and managers at all levels Sound judgement when dealing with confidential information A practical, solutions-focused approach to problems A mindset of continuous improvement
