Bru Cru Kenmore is looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team!

We’re a busy, rapid-paced local café with a strong community of regulars, and we’re looking for someone confident and reliable to take ownership of our kitchen and help keep things running smoothly.

About the role:
Leading and managing the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Preparing and cooking our café menu, including cabinet food and house-made favourites
Managing prep, ordering, stock and wastage
Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and cleanliness
Keeping the kitchen organised and running efficiently during busy services
Supporting, training and communicating with the kitchen team
Working closely with our café management team

We’re looking for someone who:




Has solid kitchen/cooking experience
Is confident taking responsibility and leading a small team
Is organised, proactive and can stay on top of prep
Works well under pressure in a busy café workplace
Has strong food safety and cleanliness standards
Is reliable and communicates well
Takes pride in their food and their workspace
Daytime café hours – no late nights!
