Strathfield Dentistry is a modern, patient-focused dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional oral healthcare to our local community. We are currently seeking a motivated, dual-skilled Dental Receptionist / Assistant to become the face of our practice and support our clinical team.

The Role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Front Desk Excellence: Greeting patients, managing phone enquiries, scheduling appointments, and handling billings (HICAPS/EFTPOS).
Chairside Assisting: Assisting clinicians across general, cosmetic, and preventative dental procedures.
Sterilisation & Infection Control: Managing the steri-room in strict accordance with Australian ADA standards and infection control guidelines.
Administration: Maintaining exact digital patient records, managing laboratory tracking, and processing recalls/reminders.
Patient Care: Making sure patients feel comfortable, secure, and well-informed from the moment they walk in until they leave.

What We Are Looking For
Experience:



Previous experience in dental assisting and/or dental reception is highly regarded (on-the-job training can be provided for the right candidate with robust medical/dental background).
Technical Skills: Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., [OASIS / D4W]) is a major plus.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; a warm and professional telephone manner.
Compliance: Up-to-date knowledge of Australian dental infection control protocols. Certificate III in Dental Assisting is highly advantageous but not mandatory.
