Delivering coaching and instruction to athletes, assessing their performance

through observation and analysis, and designing programs to build their

technical, physical and tactical capabilities.
Formulating and implementing match and competition strategies, devising set

plays and tactical structures, and monitoring the flow of play to adjust

approaches as needed.
Encouraging and sustaining athlete commitment and morale, and overseeing

the planning and conduct of training sessions.
Identifying, assessing and engaging current players, and participating in the

selection and appointment of assistant coaches and support staff.
Coordinating team and individual registrations for competitions, tournaments

and events, including managing the associated administrative requirements.




Developing and delivering initiatives to raise the profile of the sport and grow

participation, including designing junior and community pathways and

supervising the involvement of children and young people in sporting

programs.
Acting as an official at matches and events, applying the laws of the game

and ensuring fair play.
Organising and managing sporting programs and activities, and working with

referees, umpires, governing bodies and other officials to interpret and apply

competition rules, codes of conduct and regulations.

Experience Required-

At least 1 year in a Sports Development Officer role

Pay: $79,500.00 per year
