Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services - Melbourne - 110 to 90kElectrical Design Engineer – Building Services - Melbourne - 110 to 90kJoin a highly regarded Building Services Consultancy delivering some of Melbourne's most significant commercial and technically complex projects.We are currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join an established and growing Building Services team in Melbourne.This is an excellent prospect for an Electrical Engineer who wants to work on high-profile commercial projects, develop technically, and work alongside experienced engineers across a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.The Opportunity You will be involved in the electrical design and delivery of a diverse range of building projects, working closely with architects, clients, builders and other engineering disciplines.Your responsibilities will include:Electrical design and documentation across commercial building projectsPreparation of electrical layouts, schematics and design documentationLighting, power, communications and essential services designElectrical load calculations and equipment selectionDesign coordination with structural, mechanical, hydraulic and architectural teamsSupporting project delivery from concept through to constructionLiaising with clients, contractors and project stakeholdersContributing to design reviews, site inspections and technical reportingWorking within Australian Standards, NCC requirements and relevant industry guidelinesWhat We're Looking For We are interested in speaking with Electrical Engineers who have:A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related disciplineExperience within Building Services / Consulting EngineeringStrong understanding of electrical building services designExperience with lighting,



power and electrical distribution systemsAbility to produce and review high-quality engineering documentationStrong communication and coordination skillsExperience with AutoCAD and/or Revit is highly regardedA proactive approach to problem-solving and project deliveryEngineers with approximately 3–7 years' experience are encouraged to apply, although candidates outside this range with the right building services experience will also be considered.Why Join?
