Sterling Crest Accounting & Advisory Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Canberra. The ideal candidate will support financial operations, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements and reports.
Manage accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Prepare BAS, GST, and tax-related documentation.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Previous accounting experience preferred.
Knowledge of Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
Strong Excel, analytical, and organisational skills.
CPA/CA qualification is an advantage.
