Dental Assistant / Receptionist

Part-Time – Tuesdays and Fridays

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our dental team, with availability required on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The successful candidate will play an significant role in providing excellent patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the dentist chairside during dental procedures.

Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment.

Clean, disinfect, and sterilise dental instruments in accordance with infection-control guidelines.

Greet patients warmly and provide a welcoming experience.

Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, and patient enquiries.

Answer phone calls and respond to emails.

Maintain accurate patient records and update practice management systems.

Process payments and assist with health fund claims where required.

Maintain a clean, organised,



and professional clinical and reception environment.

About You

Friendly, professional, and patient-focused.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Robust attention to detail and a commitment to infection control.

Previous dental assisting or reception experience is preferred.

Relevant dental assisting qualifications are an advantage.

Availability

Tuesdays and Fridays are essential.
