Astoria Bar & Grill is looking for a reliable, hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our team full time. The successful candidate will help keep the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly during service.

Key responsibilities
Wash dishes, cookware and kitchen equipment
Keep kitchen work areas, floors and storage areas clean and tidy
Assist with basic food preparation as directed by the kitchen team
Receive and store deliveries, rotating stock where required
Follow food-safety, hygiene and workplace-safety procedures
Support chefs and other kitchen staff during busy service periods

Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen hand or similar role is preferred
Valuable work ethic and a positive, dependable attitude
Able to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment
Solid attention to cleanliness and hygiene
Available to work full time, including evenings and weekends as rostered
Able to work well as part of a team
