Our patients receive dialysis treatment in a newly developed unit with 16 chairs including 4 isolation rooms.
We pride ourselves on providing holistic patient centred care to individuals living with kidney disease in the Greater Shepparton area and surrounding communities.The role of a Registered Nurse in the Haemodialysis unit includes providing and coordinating all aspects of quality patient care.
The nursing team work closely with patients to build therapeutic relationships over many years to support patients throughout their health journey.
The Registered Nurse liaises with on-site Nephrologists along with a multi-disciplinary team including Dieticians, Podiatrists, Diabetic Educators, and the patients Specialist renal hospital.Haemodialysis is a readily growing specialty with onsite training offered.Successful candidate will haveAHPRA registration as a Registered NurseExperience in Haemodialysis Nursing is desirableDemonstrated ability to provide quality patient careHigh level verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated commitment to developing and improving personal education skills appropriate for the positionYou can view the Position Description: HEREIf qualifications are a requirement for this position, please attach a copy in support of your application.
