About the opportunityOur client, a leading university in Melbourne's south-east, is seeking a Student Finance Adviser to join the team on a contract through to June ****.The roleWorking within the Student Finance Operations team, you will:Support student and sponsor invoicing across the university's Australian and international campusesBuild positive relationships with sponsor organisations and colleagues across the universityHelp sponsors transition to a new platform in ****Work with large volumes of data to maintain accuracy and contribute to reportingProvide helpful responses to enquiries from students, staff and external stakeholdersShare ideas to improve processes as new systems and ways of working are introducedAbout youThis role suits someone who enjoys both the numbers and the people.
You will bring:Experience in accounts receivable, credit control, collections or a similar finance administration roleStrong customer service and communication skills, with confidence negotiating and engaging stakeholdersSolid spreadsheet skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, and comfort working with large data setsA proactive,



positive approach and the ability to adapt quickly to recent processesStrong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindsetThe resilience to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environmentExperience with student management systems, the higher education sector, Flywire, Google Suite or AI tools for data analysis is highly regarded but not essential.
