In this role, you will carry out mechanical fitting, assembly, alignment, and installation works to ensure racking systems are installed accurately, safely, and to specification.Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, specifications and installation documentationSet out, assemble, fit and align mechanical components and steel structures for racking systemsMeasure, mark, and check components using precision measuring equipment to ensure correct fit and tolerancesUse hand and power tools and mechanical equipment to assemble, fasten, adjust and secure componentsConduct on-site installation activities including levelling, alignment checks, and final fitment verificationIdentify faults, rectify installation issues, and complete adjustments to achieve compliance with technical requirementsPerform quality checks, complete basic commissioning/functional checks, and report defects or non-conformancesMaintain tools and equipment and keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with WHS requirementsWork safely at heights and follow all site safety procedures, SWMS, and permit requirementsEmployer: Montaze Broz Pty LtdPosition: FitterWork Type: Full time,
