This position offers a diverse mix of accounting, taxation, and administrative duties.
You will work closely with senior accountants and clients, supporting day‐to‐day operations and delivering accurate, timely work across multiple service areas.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide reception support including greeting clients, answering calls, and managing general enquiriesPerform data entry, document processing, and maintenance of client recordsPrepare and assist with Business Activity Statements (BAS) and IASComplete accounts to trial balance, including reconciliations and ledger maintenancePrepare individual tax returns under supervisionSupport workflow management, filing,



and general office administrationLiaise with clients professionally and promptly to obtain required informationAssist senior accountants with ad‐hoc tasks and compliance work as needed1–3 years experience in an accounting or bookkeeping roleStrong understanding of BAS, GST, and basic compliance requirementsAbility to complete accounts to trial balance confidentlyExperience preparing individual tax returns (basic to intermediate level)Competent with accounting software (Xero preferred) and Microsoft OfficeExcellent attention to detail, organisation, and time managementProfessional communication skills and a willingness to assist across the teamAbility to work independently and follow established processesBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
