Hands-on delivery of high-quality events from set-up through to pack-down, ensuring each event runs safely, efficiently and in line with the agreed client brief.
This role works closely with the Venue & Events Manager, suppliers, and venue stakeholders to create a professional, seamless and welcoming experience.Key responsibilitiesConfirm event requirements, schedules, floor plans, equipment, catering arrangements and supplier access before each event, and communicate updates clearly to all relevant partiesSupport venue set-up, service delivery, event transitions and pack-down, checking that presentation, timing, safety and guest-service standards are consistently metProvide clear, confident and respectful direction to event and hospitality staff, conduct briefings and maintain effective communication with clients, suppliers and venue stakeholdersManage complaints, conflict and operational disruptions promptly and professionally, escalating significant matters where appropriate and documenting relevant outcomesAnticipate operational risks, think quickly under pressure and implement practical, solutions-focused responses that minimise disruption to the event and guest experienceMonitor service standards, presentation,



cleanliness and compliance with workplace health and safety, responsible service and venue proceduresAct as an in office point of contact, responding to guest and client needs and resolving issues while maintaining a calm, professional presence throughout eventsAbout youDemonstrated experience in event operations, hospitality or food and beverage service, with a strong understanding of venue presentation, service standards, event timing and operational workflowsProven front-of-house experience and confidence acting as an on-site point of contactPresent professionally, remain composed in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate reliability, initiative, attention to detail and a strong customer-service focusAvailable for event-based hours, which will include evenings and weekendsComfortable undertaking hands-on duties such as moving event equipment and remaining on your feet for extended periods, subject to reasonable workplace adjustmentsBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
