You will have ownership of your responsibilities and will be trusted to manage your workload with minimal supervision.About the roleYour responsibilities will include:Managing day to day accounts payable and ensuring invoices are accurately processed and paidProcessing invoices, reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepanciesMaintaining accurate financial records inXeroPreparing information and assisting withmonthly BAS requirementsSupporting the collation ofpayroll datafor processingBank and account reconciliationsAssisting with general accounts and financial administration as requiredMaintaining organised and accurate records and ensuring deadlines are metWorking closely with management and other areas of the business where requiredAbout youWe are looking for someone who:Has solid experience in anaccounts payable/accounts administration roleIsconfident and experienced using XeroHas experience withBAS preparation and/ monthly BAS processesUnderstands payroll data and can accurately collate information for payroll processingIs highly organised and has excellent attention to detailCan workindependently and take ownershipof their responsibilitiesIs confident identifying and resolving discrepancies rather than waiting to be directedCan manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesCommunicates clearly and professionallyIs reliable, practical and comfortable working in a hands on environmentThis role would suit an experienced accounts professional who enjoys having responsibility for their work and being a valued part of a business, without being micromanaged.If you are confident in Xero, know your way around accounts payable and BAS, and are someone who can simply get on with the job, we would love to hear from you.Please submit your CV and a brief covering letter outlining your relevant experience.Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
