We partner with public and private hospitals, health networks and healthcare providers to deliver safe, reliable and fit-for-purpose linen and textile, including reusable surgical products, solutions.
Our healthcare business is growing, and this is a role at the centre of that growth.The opportunityThis is a rare role that brings together clinical credibility and commercial impact.
You'll be the bridge between Ensign and our healthcare customers.
You'll speak the language of nurse unit managers, infection prevention teams, procurement leaders and health executives, and turn what you hear into solutions that make a real difference to patients, staff and services.What you'll doBuild and grow a national pipeline of healthcare opportunities across public and private hospitals and health networksBuild relationships with clinical, procurement and executive decision-makers, and represent Ensign at healthcare forums and conferencesBring clinical insight to tenders, proposals and customer presentationsWork with customers, our laundries and suppliers to develop, trial and implement healthcare textile products that meet clinical,



infection prevention and safety requirementsInvestigate product performance concerns and find practical solutionsSupport strategic customer reviews and help recent customers transition smoothly into serviceAct as the go-to clinical resource for our General Managers, Account Managers and Operations teams, and develop education and product materialsAbout youTertiary qualification in Nursing, with meaningful clinical experience in an Australian hospitalClinical leadership experience, ideally at Nurse Unit Manager level or aboveA strong grasp of hospital workflows and infection prevention principlesCommercial curiosity and a genuine interest in business development and growthConfidence influencing stakeholders from frontline clinicians to senior executivesExcellent presentation, facilitation and writing skillsWillingness to travel nationally on a regular basis, with a current Australian driver's licenceIt would be great if you also bring:Experience in healthcare business development, medical sales, procurement or consultingExisting networks across Australian public or private healthcareA background in critical care, perioperative services or another high-acuity settingExperience working with Infection Prevention and Control teamsExperience with product evaluation, clinical trials or product implementationIf you've been building your commercial skills alongside your clinical career, or you're ready to make that move, we'd love to hear from you.A high-impact role with a clear voice in our national healthcare growth strategyReal autonomy in a national role, backed by a supportive leadership teamThe chance to improve outcomes for patients and clinicians at scale, beyond a single ward or hospitalBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
