In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a diverse fleet of assets-ranging from heavy diesel plant and trucks through to commercial mowers and small engine equipment.This position plays a critical operational role in keeping downtime to a minimum while ensuring all vehicles and machinery meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications and Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) standards.Key ResponsibilitiesFleet Maintenance & Servicing: Perform routine servicing, diagnostic troubleshooting, and complex mechanical repairs on heavy diesel vehicles, plant, light commercial vehicles, and small plant equipment.Fault Diagnosis & Hydraulics: Conduct computer diagnostics, hydraulic servicing, structural welding, and minor fabrication work.Breakdown & Operational Support: Assist with emergency breakdown call-outs as required to ensure core community services remain operational.Parts & Workshop Management: Order spare parts in accordance with procurement guidelines, maintain workshop cleanliness, and manage tool serviceability.Mentorship & Safety:
