Key Responsibilities and Duties:Provide professional accounting, taxation and business advisory services to a portfolio of individual and business clients.Prepare financial statements, management accounts and other financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards and legislative requirementsPrepare and review income tax returns and related tax compliance requirements for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and other entitiesPrepare Business Activity Statements (BAS), Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)



and other statutory and taxation-related lodgementsAssist clients with tax planning and provide practical taxation advice based on their individual circumstances and business objectivesAssist clients with budgeting, cash-flow forecasting, financial planning and analysis to support business decision-makingReview and maintain clients' accounting records and general ledgers, including reconciliations and other accounting functions as requiredIdentify financial, taxation and compliance issues and provide appropriate advice and recommendations to clientsMaintain strong working relationships with clients and develop an understanding of their businesses, financial objectives and ongoing needsEnsure all client work is completed accurately, efficiently and withing required deadlinesMaintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgement when dealing with sensitive client financial and commercial informationProvide general accounting, taxation and business advisory support to clients and other team members as requiredEssential Criteria:Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldAt least 1 year of previous experience in an accounting or finance related role;Strong IT skills and proficiency in using accounting software and financial management systems;Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skillsIf you believe you are the right candidate for this job, please apply accordingly.
