Jim’s Mowing Tannum Sands is looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated team member to join our growing business!

What does the role involve?
Lawn mowing and garden maintenance
Operating ride-on mowers and other machinery
Using power tools and landscaping equipment
Whipper snipping, edging, hedge trimming and weed control
Landscaping, vegetation management and property clean-ups
Working across a variety of residential and commercial properties
Maintaining equipment and keeping work vehicles and job sites tidy
Providing quality service and representing our business professionally

What we’re looking for:
A current, unrestricted manual driver’s licence
A current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
A strong work ethic and reliable, punctual attitude
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Confidence using tools and machinery, or a willingness to learn




Valuable attention to detail and pride in your work
The ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in Central Queensland’s heat and changing weather conditions
A safety-first mindset and the ability to follow instructions and procedures
Positive communication skills and a qualified attitude when dealing with customers

Experience is an advantage!

Previous experience in mowing, gardening, landscaping, vegetation management or operating machinery is highly regarded. However, the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as significant.

You’ll need to be comfortable working outdoors, getting your hands dirty and keeping up with a varied workload.

Location: Tannum Sands and surrounding areas
