Gusto Catering & Events is seeking an experienced and confident sales skilled to join our growing team in Marrickville.
This role is focused on converting incoming enquiries into confirmed bookings, preparing catering and event quotations, following up prospective clients, and helping customers select the right catering package for their event.
Main Duties
Respond to catering and event enquiries by phone and email
Prepare accurate quotes and event proposals
Follow up enquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings
Recommend suitable menus, staffing and event services
Maintain client records and manage the sales pipeline
Liaise with the kitchen and events teams to confirm operational requirements
Build strong relationships with corporate and private clients
Identify opportunities to increase order value through appropriate upgrades and additional services
About You
Strong and proven sales experience is essential
Previous catering, hospitality or events sales experience is highly regarded
Confident communicating with clients by phone and email
Strong quoting, negotiation and closing skills
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable managing multiple enquiries and deadlines
Skilled, reliable and motivated by achieving sales results
Experience with catering, events or CRM/quoting software would be advantageous

$34–$45 per hour, depending on experience
