HALO is a current fire-focused Greek restaurant opening on Chapel Street this November.

Set across three levels with a rooftop terrace, HALO will bring together fire focused cooking and generous Greek hospitality set inside an iconic heritage building in the Windsor end of Chapel Street. We’re looking to build a foundation team to help create a polished and energetic restaurant from day one.

The opportunity

We are hiring chefs of all levels, both junior and senior. Experience with charcoal, grill or fire focused cooking is highly regarded, but we also welcome chefs with solid fundamentals and a genuine desire to learn. Working in an open kitchen located in the middle of the venue, there is the opportunity to be a part of the opening team and contribute creatively to the vision of the menu and the wider venue.

HALO trades Wednesday to Sunday, giving our team two consecutive days off each week. Above award rates, generous discounts and flexibility to work across the venue.

Relevant experience in a quality, fast-paced à la carte kitchen
Strong prep, knife and section-management skills
Pride in quality, consistency and clean, well-organised work
The ability to stay composed and communicate clearly during busy service

Availability across evenings, weekends and public holidays
