38 hours per week through to Christmas$30–$35 per hour + superAbout the roleWe're looking for a reliable, hands-on Installer/Factory Labourer to join our installation Team during our busy period through to Christmas.This is a casual position offering approximately 38 hours per week for the next 21⁄2 months, with the possibility of moving into a permanent full-time role down the track, depending on ongoing workload in the new year.The role will be varied, with time spent working on commercial sites installing acoustic panels and whiteboards, as well as helping our factory Team manufacture high end whiteboards.We're looking for someone who is confident using tools, can measure and work accurately, takes direction well and genuinely cares about producing quality work.Immediate start available for the right person.Key responsibilitiesInstalling acoustic panels and other products on commercial sitesMeasuring, cutting, setting out and fitting materials accuratelyUsing hand and power tools safely and confidentlyAssisting with the manufacture of whiteboards in our factoryApplying spray adhesives and glues where requiredWorking with our Project Managers and Installation Team to complete jobs to a high standardGeneral installation and labouring dutiesKeeping work areas clean and safeAbout youComfortable working across both factory production and in office installationConfident and experienced using hand and power toolsGood measuring, cutting and practical problem-solving skillsInstallation experience in a trade or similar hands-on role is highly regardedAcoustic installation experience is an advantage, but not essentialConstruction or commercial site experience preferredStrong attention to detail and pride in producing a quality finishAble to follow instructions and learn new installation methodsReliable, punctual and ready to workComfortable working independently and as part of a teamCurrent driver's licence and reliable transportMost importantly, we're looking for someone our team can rely on, someone who turns up when expected, communicates well and takes pride in doing a job properly.What we offerFull-time hours through our busy period to ChristmasTools providedSuperannuation paid in addition to the hourly rateConsistent, hands-on work across a variety of commercial projectsOpportunity to learn specialist acoustic installation skillsSupportive and experienced installation and project teamOpportunity for the role to become permanent full-time, depending on ongoing workload$30–$35 per hour + super, depending on skills and experienceBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
