Our clients is looking for a skilled wall and floor tiler who undertakes wall and floor tiling across residential construction projects and will be responsible for completing all work to a high standard of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
examining plans, measuring and marking surfaces and laying out work
preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces
spreading adhesive onto prepared surfaces and tiles, and setting tiles in position
using tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes
ensuring tiles are correctly aligned and spaced
grouting tiles, and cleaning and removing excess grout
applying waterproofing systems

Essential Requirements
Certificate IV in related field or Certificate III with 2 years work experience.




Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler.
Demonstrated experience in residential wall and floor tiling.
Robust knowledge of surface preparation, tile cutting, laying, grouting and finishing techniques.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, measurements and specifications.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
Positive understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
Relevant trade qualification in wall and floor tiling is highly regarded.

Pay: $79,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
