Sous Chef: Recent Perth CBD Venue (Brookfield Place)

Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co has built a workplace around quality, humour, and being genuinely valuable at what we do. We’re an award-winning WA brewery, and we’re opening our newest venue in the heart of Perth CBD at Brookfield Place in late December 2026. We’re looking for a Sous Chef to help us launch the kitchen and set the standard from day one.

You’ll be the right hand to our Head Chef in a brand new kitchen with brand new equipment, serving elevated pub food alongside 24 taps of our beer. You’ll have the guidance and support of our Executive Chef behind you, and a real chance to grow with a WA-focused beverage manufacturing and hospitality group. We trade Monday to Saturday, so your Sundays are your own.

About you:
At least 2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef or senior Chef de Partie in a busy venue
Calm and consistent under pressure, and someone who keeps standards high when it gets busy
A natural teacher who enjoys helping junior chefs grow
Organised and comfortable with the admin side as well as the pass
Excited by the challenge of a venue launch

What the role involves:
Supporting the Head Chef to open and run our current kitchen




Running the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence and leading shifts day to day
Training and mentoring the team to keep standards consistent
Helping with rostering, ordering, stock control and supplier relationships
Delivering menus developed with our Executive Chef, with room to contribute your own ideas
Keeping food and labour costs on target
Keeping on top of health, safety, and food handling compliance
Working closely with Front-of-House for a smooth lunch and dinner service
